The CD should automatically start. If not, double-click "My Computer", double-click the CD drive, then double-click "Setup.exe".

Click "OK" on the welcome screen.

Choose Programs

Click the "Install Microsoft Internet Explorer", "Install Netscape Communicator" or "Additional Programs...". The standard installation is "Install Microsoft Internet Explorer" button.

Install Additional Programs

To install other programs, click on the button for the program you want.

Click "Next".

Select "Typical", then click "Next".

Type in your name, then click "Next".

Choose your SnowCrest username. This will be your SnowCrest email address. You may use letters and numbers. The username must be between 2 and 16 characters long.

Type in your desired username, then click "Next".

Choose your SnowCrest username. You may use letters and numbers. The username must be between 4 and 20 characters long. Your password is case-sensitive. This means that "FRED" and "fred" are two different passwords.

Type in your desired password, then click "Next".

Type in the phone number provided by SnowCrest. If you have not received a phone number from SnowCrest, leave this box the way it is. Remember that it is your responsibility to verify with your local telephone company that the SnowCrest access number is a local call for you. Then click "Next".

You may need to create directories for Netscape. Click "Yes" here.

At this point you can choose to read the Netscape "readme" file. Click "Yes" or "No".

Netcape Install Complete

Netscape Communicator is now installed. Click "OK" to exit the Netscape installer.
